Berrigan seems to me a terrible poet however you or he or we configure his work. Prove me wrong! Just one excellent Ted Berrigan poem is all I ask...
I recently read the whole Sonnets and was shocked at how few poems of interest I found. I'll have to go back to see if I dogeared at least a couple of pages as keepers.
Very nice. A dose of reality for all of us perhaps.
