poets' opinions

Poets can’t be trusted when it comes to their opinions of their contemporaries. Their lack of distance causes deafness to rival voices or results in a chummy humming in tune.

  1. Is it possible then that Yeats' and Frost's contemporaries, e.g., were wrong about them?

Was someone like Pound wrong about his rival poets?

  2. Integrity is sorely lacking....

    those who say don't know
    those who know don't say

the future of poetry, art AND humanity rests in the
hands, minds/hearts of those who have "taken to the hills" to avoid all of the Bull Shit
