easy to translate.... more difficult to write in your own language

most of what I've seen re: translation have been/are collaborations with a native of the language being translated who has a smattering of (say) American English and get something in a basic/simplistic form that the "translator" tweaks. Then there are all of those computer programs that do the translations...
I think google has one.... and Bing...

Easy to translate? If one has assembled a piece of furniture made in another country, using the 'instructions' even tho illustrated with diagrams, one would know better.

If what you're saying is the poem in its original language is a kind of failed translation (of experience, of emotion, of narration, etc.), then we are on the same page.
