I would venture to say that, by that criterion alone, almost all poetry written after the age of "experimentalism" (roughly from about the 1930s to the present) will be forgotten. I'll give some leeway, of course, to the better "formalists" works.
Can anyone, for example, recite from heart a favourite verse from Zukofsky's "A"?
