Only a bad poet hides a snake motif under a flowery style…

I'm not sure what a bad poet is unless she or he's an undeveloped craftsman or a person out of touch with his feelings. I was such for many years. The snake was in between my head and my heart, writhing and gnawing away at their connectedness. Though I was a bad poet, any flowers I could toss off couldn't hide the snake from most people, I suspect.
